Caltra Cuans Clinch Galway Intermediate County  Title.
Calra Cuans lady footballers winners of the County, Connacht and All Ireland titles in 2010 at Junior level took another major step forward on Sunday last and captured the Intermediate Championship title defeating Kilkerrin/Clonberne in a hard fought battle in Tuam Stadium by the narrowest of margins  0-13 to 1-9 and now go forward to represent Galway in the Connacht Championship. The title winners will play senior football in 2012 and who knows what other trophies they can win later this year. This was a great team performance and and despite defeat the Kilkerrin/Clonberne girls can hold their heads high for making this a memorable game and at one stge were four points up and looked destined for victory.
